Check the record: Shielding Anti-Abortion Centers in 2026

In 2026, 10 New Hampshire state representatives - including Jason Osborne, the House Majority Leader, (Reps. Farrington, Kofalt, Notter, Osborne, Mark Pearson, Perez, Sellers, Thibault, Granger, and Bennett) and one state senator (Sen. Avard) sponsored HB 1416, which would shield anti-abortion centers in New Hampshire state law.

To date, there has been no legislation filed - ever - in New Hampshire to regulate or restrict anti-abortion centers. However, over the last decade there have been dozens of attempts to ban or threaten safe, legal abortion in New Hampshire. New Hampshire also remains the only state in New England without any explicit protections for abortion access in state law or the state Constitution.

Siding with the overwhelming public opposition (154 supporting, 901 opposing at the committee hearing) a majority of Granite State Representatives voted to pass HB 1416 in a 176-163 vote.

Check the record of your state representative(s) below. Representatives voting to protect anti-abortion centers in state law are listed with the yellow background, while those voting to oppose this anti-abortion policy are listed with the pink background. We recommend using Ctrl + F or Command + F to search town/city.
