Planned Parenthood New Hampshire Action Fund PAC announced Oct. 3 that it has proudly endorsed Mason Donovan for the New Hampshire Senate in District 7. Donovan, a longtime District 7 resident, promises to fight for access to quality, affordable health care and to defend every Granite Stater’s right to private health care decisions.

Donovan, a former Select Board member for the Town of Webster, has held many roles as a District 7 community member, including as a business owner, an author, and a mentor. He’s dedicated his life to listening to our voices and putting our values into action.

In contrast, the incumbent, Sen. French, has a long track record of opposing health care access to the women and families of his district and across the state. French voted to defund Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE), which serves more than 12,000 New Hampshire patients, and against Medicaid expansion reauthorization, which provides affordable health care coverage to more than 55,000 Granite Staters. French also voted twice against a law that would have banned conversion therapy for LGBTQ teens. French’s actions make it clear that he will vote against the health and safety of his communities at every turn.

Statement from Sabrina Dunlap, Chair, Planned Parenthood New Hampshire Action Fund PAC:
“We are proud to endorse and support Mason Donovan for the New Hampshire Senate in District 7, because he puts the health and safety of the women and families in his district first. Mason has pledged that as a state senator he will fight to protect reproductive health care and to make sure the more than 12,000 PPNNE patients in New Hampshire continue to receive the services they rely on, including birth control services, STI testing, and well person exams. His opponent, Sen. French, has demonstrated through his voting record and his statements that he will take every opportunity to defund those services and jeopardize health care for Granite Staters.”
