CONCORD – Planned Parenthood New Hampshire Action Fund (PPNHAF) released a video recently highlighting Ted Gatsas’ long history of opposing health care access for Granite Staters.

The ad focuses on Gatsas’ attempts to defund Planned Parenthood of Northern New England Health centers and block thousands of Granite State women from accessing birth control, preventative care, and cancer screenings at Planned Parenthood health centers. As a state senator, Gatsas also voted to deny New Hampshire women, including victims of sexual assault, access to emergency contraception and opposed HIV prevention programs and treatment services for AIDS patients.

PPNHAF PAC has endorsed Gray Chynoweth, who is running against Gatsas in Executive Council District 4, because Chynoweth promises to protect access to quality, affordable health care for Granite Staters and has pledged to support family funding contracts that come before the council.

Statement from Kayla Montgomery, Director or Advocacy & Organizing, Planned Parenthood New Hampshire Action Fund:

“Ted Gatsas is a danger to reproductive health. Gatsas has spent much of his political career working to restrict access to health care services and risk the health and wellness of the women, men, and young people in his communities and across the Granite State. Gray Chynoweth can be trusted to protect Planned Parenthood and access to the quality, affordable health care services it provides.
