CONCORD — Planned Parenthood New Hampshire Action Fund  (PPNHAF) released two videos Wednesday highlighting Senators Harold French, District 7, and Bob Giuda’s, District 2, anti-health care voting records.

The first ad focuses on Senator French’s votes to defund Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE), which serves more than 12,000 New Hampshire patients, and against Medicaid Expansion reauthorization, which provides quality, affordable health care coverage to more than 55,000 Granite Staters. French also voted twice against a law that would have banned conversion therapy for LGBTQ teens.

The second ad highlights that Senator Giuda was the only senator to vote against SB421, which is a law that protects and expands access to birth control in New Hampshire. The fact that every other senator supported it – 22 in total – underlined Guida’s radical opposition to reproductive health care access.

PPNHAF PAC has endorsed Mason Donovan, who is running against French in District 7, and Bill Bolton, who is running against Giuda in District 2. Both Donovan and Bolton can be trusted to put the health of their communities before politics and use their voices and votes to stand with Planned Parenthood.

Statement from Kayla Montgomery, Director or Advocacy & Organizing, Planned Parenthood New Hampshire Action Fund:

“For too long, the people of Senate Districts 2 and 7 have been represented by senators who have dangerous voting records when it comes to protecting reproductive health care access in the Granite State, which is why Planned Parenthood NH Action Fund is highlighting the records of Senator Giuda and Senator French for the voters of their district. The women, men, and young people in their communities deserve senators like Bill Bolton and Mason Donovan, who will stand up for access to health care – including funding of Planned Parenthood health centers  –  and who will always fight for reproductive rights in the New Hampshire Senate.”
