Planned Parenthood NH Action Fund Celebrates the Re-Election of Mayor Joyce Craig

Manchester, NH - Today, Manchester Mayor Joyce Craig was re-elected by a decisive victory. Last month, Planned Parenthood New Hampshire Action Fund PAC endorsed Craig, the first woman mayor of Manchester, citing her consistent support of inclusive reproductive rights and health care. As Mayor, Craig has opposed the Title X gag rule, supported patient safety at the Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) Manchester health center, and supported Medicaid expansion.

Manchester is home to PPNNE’s flagship health center in New Hampshire, and the non-profit organization has served every neighborhood in Manchester for decades, providing reproductive and sexual health care and education. Last year, the health center saw nearly 5,000 patients. Mayor Joyce Craig’s re-election will help ensure that PPNNE’s patients can continue to access the health care they rely on, including birth control, STD testing & treatment, well-person exams, gender affirming care, and abortion care.
