CONCORD, NH - Today, Planned Parenthood New Hampshire Action Fund PAC proudly endorsed Bill Bolton, candidate for State Senate, District 2.

Bill’s priorities include working to ensure all Granite Staters have access to affordable, quality health care and ensuring women, men, and young people can access quality, affordable care at Planned Parenthood health centers in New Hampshire.

District 2 is currently represented by Bob Giuda, who has tried to roll back reproductive access at every chance he’s had. Giuda has spent his time in Concord attempting to restrict reproductive rights and make it more difficult for people in his district and across the state to access quality, affordable health care. During the budget debate in 2017, he sponsored an amendment to defund Planned Parenthood, and in 2018 he was the only state senator to oppose a bill expanding and protecting access to contraception.

Statement from Sabrina Dunlap, Chair, Planned Parenthood New Hampshire Action Fund PAC:

“Bill Bolton is the state senator that the people of Senate District 2 need. He has pledged to be a champion for reproductive health and for the services that Planned Parenthood provides. As a former public health official, Bill understands that safeguarding access to quality, affordable health care is essential in creating and fostering healthier communities. As state senator, women and families of District 2 and across New Hampshire, will have a strong voice and advocate in Bill Bolton. District 2 deserves a champion for health care—not a state senator who turns his back on women and families.”

Statement from Bill Bolton, Candidate, State Senate District 2:

“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the Planned Parenthood NH Action Fund PAC. I understand that healthy communities begin with access to quality, affordable health care that is available to everyone. I fully support the work that Planned Parenthood does in advancing and protecting reproductive rights and health care for more than 12,000 Granite Staters. Unlike my opponent, as a state senator, I look forward to supporting Planned Parenthood patients, and I will always fight to protect access to the full range of reproductive health care.”
