COLCHESTER, VT – Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) is excited to welcome Dr. Ashley Lamb, of Exeter, NH, and Jill Ross, of Claremont, NH, to its Board of Trustees. They join 16 dedicated board members throughout New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine.

Dr. Ashley Lamb is a board-certified pediatrician and internist at the University of New Hampshire in Durham. She practiced in primary care with patients of all ages for eight years, first in rural North Carolina and then in Epping, NH. Now, as a college health physician, Lamb enjoys working with UNH students regarding their reproductive and sexual health in addition to helping those with chronic medical conditions to learn how to care for themselves and start living on their own while navigating the complexities of the health care system.

A graduate of Yale University, Lamb earned her MD and Master’s in Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her medical residency at the Harvard/Massachusetts General Hospital Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program. Lamb loves playing hockey and soccer and spending time outside exploring New Hampshire with her husband and two children.

“I am excited to join PPNNE’s Board of Trustees,” said Dr. Ashley Lamb. “Working with patients every day, I have seen firsthand how important access to health care regardless of the ability to pay is and I look forward to working with the many leaders on this board to promote sexual and reproductive health throughout the region.”

Jill Ross is guest and community relations manager at David’s House in Lebanon, NH. David’s House provides a home away from home and support for families with children receiving treatment through the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Ross handles guest needs at David’s House, coordinates its volunteer program, and manages its social media.

Ross holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services from Fitchburg State University in Fitchburg, MA. Known for her unique laugh and colorful hair, Ross enjoys spending time with her husband and stepson and their five cats.

“I truly credit Planned Parenthood with preventing me from developing cervical cancer,” said Jill Ross. “If it wasn’t for their commitment to my care, following up with me, referring me to specialists, and just being a reassuring, friendly face during a scary time for me, my life could be a lot different right now. I am looking forward to serving on this board and giving back to Planned Parenthood, which has done so much for me.”

Statement from Meagan Gallagher, CEO and President of Planned Parenthood of Northern New England:
