At Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, we are committed to helping all communities - including aspiring citizens. We support and work with those leading the movement to protect the rights of our immigrant communities. In Colorado, this includes the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition, and the Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity and Reproductive Rights.
This past week we saw a devastating decision made by the Trump Administration to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals immigration policy in six months. There are 800,000 DACA recipients in the country, and over 17,000 in Colorado who now live in fear for their futures. The six month timeline gives Congress time to pass a law to continue it. Join us in urging your own federal Representatives to pass this policy, without any undue harm or human rights violations for our immigrant communities.
Additionally, we want to provide you with information on how your Colorado friends and family can get assistance if they are struggling with the fear of deportation. The Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition can refer you to resources in your community and give more information about individuals' rights when interacting with law enforcement and ICE.

Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains has and will continue to be a safe and compassionate place for all communities to get care. We will continue to work with our partners, support our communities, and will advocate against policy decisions that hurt our communities’ rights to live happy, healthy, and self-empowered lives.
I join Planned Parenthood Federation of America President, Cecile Richards, in saying, “DREAMers are a part of the Planned Parenthood family — and we will fight for their safety and protection, no matter what.”
