Why should I get vaccinated?

 

Getting vaccinated can protect you if you are exposed to the coronavirus that causes COVID-19. The vaccines greatly reduce your chances of illness, hospitalization, or death.

Getting vaccinated is the best thing we can do to protect ourselves and the people we care about, and it’s the quickest path to getting back to normal.

Getting vaccinated is safe, effective, and free.

COVID Boosters

Studies show after getting vaccinated against COVID-19, protection against the virus and the ability to prevent infection with variants may decrease over time and due to changes in variants. The recent emergence of the Omicron variant further shows the importance of vaccination, boosters, and prevention efforts needed to protect against COVID-19. COVID-19 boosters are available for everyone over the age of 16.
