What is the Reproductive Equity Act?

The Reproductive Equity Act, or the R.E.A. for short, is a bill that addresses the needs of patients and providers in New Jersey that have arisen in the past year and a half since the federal right to abortion was overturned.

What does the Reproductive Equity Act do?
  1. Ensures New Jersey reproductive health care providers continue to have the resources they need to provide high-quality care
  2. Protects New Jersey patients and providers from bad actors seeking to punish those who have or provide abortions
  3. Centers health equity and contains provisions that will remove financial barriers that many New Jerseyans face
