We are incredibly excited to announce our endorsements for 2025.

The candidates and issues below strongly support Planned Parenthood and our mission to protect and expand reproductive health care, sexual health education, and abortion–no matter what.

Candidates

Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio is proud to endorse the following candidates:

  • Alana Belle, Cleveland City Council, Ward 9
  • Mounir Lynch, Columbus School Board

Community Crisis Response Amendment

Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio is proud to endorse the Columbus Safety Collective Campaign's Community Crisis Response Amendment.

PPAO proudly endorses the Community Crisis Response Amendment, led by the Columbus Safety Collective.

The campaign filed the amendment with the City of Columbus, where it now awaits approval from the city attorney. After approval, 24,913 valid signatures are needed to qualify for the November 4 ballot.

This charter amendment is designed to enhance public safety by establishing a community-based crisis response system. Additionally, it would grant the Department of Public Safety the authority to create a Division of Community Crisis Response to oversee training, manage services in coordination with other departments, respond to 911 and other assistance calls, conduct community outreach, and establish an advisory board to guide the implementation and funding of its services.
