Absentee Drive-Up / Drop-Off Info

Below is information on municipalities that have adopted alternative voting options due to COVID-19 such as drive-up/curb side voting, and absentee drop boxes.

City of Eau Claire

Drive Through Voting:

Weekdays: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. through April 3rd.

Location: City Hall, 203 S. Farwell St.
There are four tents set up behind City Hall — three for voting and one for registering and voting. Traffic cones guide cars through the parking lot.
Voters may also drop off a completed absentee ballot at the drive through site.

City of Fond du Lac

City of Green Bay

Drive Up Voting: Read the full press release

  • When: Monday - Friday, April 1, 2 and 3,10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

  • Where: Green Bay Metro, located at 901 University. The voting location is on the west side of the building, in the main lobby.

  • What to bring with you:

    • Your own black ballpoint pen - do not bring gel pens, felt-tipped pens, or pens other colors than black

    • Valid photo identification

    • Proof of residence - if you need to register to vote at this time

  • Limited capacity in the waiting room to four people at-a-time.

  • Parking is located in the visitor lot, which can be accessed as driver heads west on University Avenue. There are handicapped-accessible stalls in this lot.

Absentee Drop Box: Located at the rear of City Hall, 100 N Jefferson St., faces Green Bay Press, labeled Clerk's Office.

City of Kenosha

Absentee Drop Box:

Right in main lot there is a big sign that says payment drop. This can be used for ballot drop off.

Early Vote:

City Hall will be open only for in-person absentee voting and voter registration Monday, March 23 through Friday, April 3 during the following hours:

  • April 1 – 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  • April 2 & 3 – NOON until 5:00 p.m.

Curbside Absentee Voting:

Absentee Ballot Drop Box:

Wednesday, April 1 9:00 a.m. -  Tuesday, April 7 at 12:00 p.m.

City of Madison voters can drop absentee ballots in the book drops of the following three public libraries:

  • Central Library, 201 W. Mifflin St. (Mifflin St. book drop only),

  • Pinney Library, 516 Cottage Grove Road (drive through book drop only),

  • Sequoya Library, 4340 Tokay Blvd.

Ballots will be collected daily by City Clerk's Office staff during this time for processing.

City of Marshfield

Early Voting:

Monday - Thursday: 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Friday, April 3: 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
All in-person voting will take place in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

Instructions: Please enter the line that begins on southbound Broadway between State St and Kilbourn Ave. Follow the traffic instructions of election staff and please have your photo ID ready. Staff will meet you at your vehicle to view your photo ID, issue, secure and witness your absentee ballot.

City of Neenah

Polling Location Changes:

All 6 polling locations have been consolidated into one.

Election Day Polling Location: The empty Shopko building, at 699 S Green Bay Road.

City of Racine

Early Vote: In-person early voting is still available at City Hall, 730 Washington Ave., during normal business hours (8 a.m to 5 p.m. weekdays)

City of Sheboygan

City of Stevens Point

Early Voting: In person absentee in conference room D 7:30 am -5:00pm

Polling Places Changes: In response to the Department of Health Services restriction of public access to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and the University of Stevens Point campus, three polling locations have been moved for the April 7, 2020 Spring election.

District 1 - Moved from Briggs Street High Rise, 1300 Briggs Court to Mid-State Technical College, 1001 Centerpoint Drive.

District 3 - Moved from Dreyfus University Center, 1015 Reserve Street to the Stevens Point Parks & Recreation Center, 2442 Sims Avenue.

District 10 - Moved from Portage County Health Care Center, 825 Whiting Avenue to Ruth Gilfry Center, 817 Whiting Avenue.

All other polling locations remain the same.
