Abortion Rights Preservation Act
Contact your Wisconsin State Legistators and demand support for the Abortion Rights Preservation Act
The Abortion Rights Preservation Act would repeal a Wisconsin criminal abortion law from 1849. This 172-year-old statute would make abortion a crime at any point in pregnancy — without exceptions for rape, incest, or to protect the health of the pregnant person. This law is currently unenforceable but it could go into effect if Roe v. Wade is overturned when the Supreme Court takes action on a different abortion ban later this year.
