Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin (PPAWI) is endorsing Judge Janet Protasiewicz for Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice. Justices are elected to 10-year terms, and the impact of this election will be felt for years to come. The court could issue rulings on abortion, fair maps, LGBTQ rights, and other vital issues.

“We are happy to endorse Judge Protasiewicz, and acknowledge she is now the only candidate on the ballot who advocates for reproductive freedom. We would also like to thank Judge Everett Mitchell for his commitment to the freedom of all Wisconsinites and his campaign efforts during this critical primary.

“This election is significant for the future of reproductive health and the health of our families and community. We strongly believe we need someone on the Wisconsin Supreme Court who prioritizes reproductive health for the people of Wisconsin, and Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin trust Judge Protasiewicz to uphold our values on the Supreme Court.”

PPAWI released additional endorsements for the April 4 General Election. The endorsed candidates are trusted to utilize their platforms and voices to push for the restoration and protection of reproductive rights for all Wisconsinites.
