About Us

Through our advocacy arm, Planned Parenthood Great Plains Votes (a 501c(4) organization), we advocate for the rights of people in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma to access the essential services that Planned Parenthood Great Plains provides. We lobby state lawmakers to protect and expand access to sexual and reproductive health care and comprehensive sex education in the communities they represent, and we galvanize grassroots supporters, helping them make their voices heard in capitol buildings and communities across the region.

The states that Planned Parenthood Great Plains Votes serves were some of the first to enact abortion bans following the Dobbs decision and are home to some of the most egregious targeted regulations of abortion providers (TRAP laws) in the country. The fight for patients’ reproductive rights extends from state capitols to the courts in order to ensure that Planned Parenthood’s doors remain open.
