Fiesta del Sol
Join us for Fiesta del Sol, the biggest Latino festival in the nation! We need volunteers to help staff PPIL's table, share health care info and resources, and connect with the community. Two shifts are available, please sign up for one. Exact meet-up location upon RSVP. See you this summer!

Dignity Dash 5K
Join PPPIA's LGBTQIA+ Organizing and Advocacy program for a summer 5K in support of trans lives and our partners at the Brave Space Alliance (BSA) of Chicago! Folks are invited to join us to complete the race (there is a cost to sign-up as a fun runner) or to join our group in community to watch the race and cheer for others.

Medicare and Medicaid Rally
Medicare and Medicaid turn 61 this year. For six decades, they've been among America's greatest achievements. Together, these programs cover more than 120 million people. That's 2 in 5 Americans, who are mostly seniors, people with disabilities, kids, and low-income workers who have no other source of coverage.
However, last year, Congress pushed through historic cuts that put Medicare and Medicaid at risk, threatening coverage for more than 10 million people over the next decade. Join Planned Parenthood Illinois Action and our partners at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, in Chicago's Federal Plaza to rally in support of Medicaid and Medicare and to build a health care system that works for us all.
