More than 100 incumbents and candidates endorsed

After previously announcing itsendorsement of 62 incumbent legislators seeking re-election, the Planned Parenthood Maine Action Fund PAC is now endorsing an additional 14 State Senate and 29 State House candidates who will be strong voices for reproductive health and rights.

“This group of legislative candidates represents communities from Presque Isle to Kennebunk. They are community leaders, small business owners, healthcare providers, teachers, and former legislators. What they all have in common is their commitment to protecting reproductive health,” said Nicole Clegg, spokesperson for the Planned Parenthood Maine Action Fund PAC. “Make no mistake -- reproductive healthcare, including safe, legal abortion -- is on the ballot this year. If we’re going to protect our health and rights we have to elect true champions we can count on to stand up to politicians trying to deny care and interfere in personal medical decisions.”

The PPMEAF PAC will make additional legislative endorsements in the coming weeks.
