December 6, 5:30-7:30pm

Prairie Roots Food Coop 1213 NP Ave. N Fargo, ND 58102

Craft + Activism = CRAFTIVISM. Craftivism combines the art of crafting with the heart of activism. It is a form of collective empowerment, expression, and action.

It has been quite a year. Repeated attempts to defund Planned Parenthood have left  our heads spinning. Through it all this community (that’s you) and our partners have remained steadfast in their support. With gratitude we ask you to join in in making as thank you gifts for our community partners.

With the supplies from Prairie Roots Co-Op we will decorate a mason jar, fill it with dry cookie dough ingredients, and add an inspired note all while engaging with other community activists. A night of community, cookies, and the co-op!

For a little extra fun we will create feminist inspired cookie names like: Coco Chanel (chocolate chip). Chanel liberated women through fashion by designing women’s pants and suits. And, in a largely male dominated industry she owned and ran her own business. #GirlBoss #FeministCraftivism
