Earlier this month in the middle of the night while many Pennsylvanians slept, anti-abortion senators in Harrisburg passed SB 106 — a bill that would pave the way for a constitutional amendment that would declare that the state constitution does not protect any right to abortion.

This bill is out of line with the vast majority of Pennsylvanians that want to see abortion rights protected. The legislature still has to vote on this bill next legislative session again before it would appear on the ballot in May 2023.

We need you to call your state senator to let them know you support abortion rights and they should vote no on any infringement to abortion access — including a constitutional amendment.

We must ACT NOW to protect abortion access in our state.
We must ACT NOW to stop abortion restrictions from being enshrined in our state constitution.

What to Say (Call Script)

Hi, my name is __________, and I live in ___________.

I'm calling to ask my state senator to vote NO on any abortion restrictions including any constitutional amendments on abortion.

The majority of Pennsylvanians support access to safe, legal abortion, including myself. [Add your own story, if you like.]

A constitutional amendment would enshrine discrimination and remove protections from our state constitution. It is a dangerous political attack on our health, our rights, and the democratic process. This is not what the Pennsylvania legislature should be focused on right now, as people in our state are still dealing with the ongoing challenges of the pandemic and maternal mortality. We need real leadership and solutions, not political attacks.

Enter your phone number, address, and zip code to be connected to your State Senator. You’ll hear a message from us and then we’ll connect you. Tell the staff member who answers that you would like your Senator to vote NO on all bills attacking abortion access including any constitutional amendments in the Pennsylvania Senate.
