AMJ will visit lawmakers, take a Capitol tour, and participate in an open roundtable with lawmakers and the Shapiro Administration

(Harrisburg, Pa.) — Planned Parenthood Action Fund President Alexis McGill Johnson (AMJ) will visit the Pennsylvania State Capitol for a series of meetings and events, including a public roundtable with lawmakers, Governor Josh Shapiro and key stakeholders. 

She will be joined by the full statewide leadership team of Planned Parenthood: Planned Parenthood PA Executive Director Signe Espinoza, Planned Parenthood Keystone CEO Melissa Reed, Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania CEO Dayle Steinberg, Planned Parenthood Western Pennsylvania CEO Syndey Etheredge.

Following a Capitol tour with members of the Women’s Health Caucus, AMJ will participate in a roundtable with lawmakers, the CEOs, and Department of Human Services Secretary Val Arkoosh. The group will discuss the status of sexual and reproductive health care in Pennsylvania, and the importance of the state in the national landscape for abortion. After the moderated discussion, the panel will open to media questions.
