PP PA PAC announces second wave of endorsements for the 2021 November election

PITTSBURGH, PA — Today, Planned Parenthood Pennsylvania PAC (PP PA PAC) endorsed 10 candidates for the Court of Common Pleas in Allegheny County. Each candidate has committed to supporting sexual and reproductive health care and rights.

“People in Allegheny County deserve to be represented by leaders who believe in the fundamental right of access to affordable, affirming sexual and reproductive health care,” said Signe Espinoza, executive director of PP PA PAC. “PP PA PAC is committed to endorsing candidates that are not only committed to sexual and reproductive rights, but also intersectional issues like protecting the right to vote.”

With nearly 600 abortion restrictions introduced, 2021 is the worst year for state legislative attacks on abortion since Roe v. Wade. Texas has set a dangerous legal precedent by enacting SB 8, and it’s clear how important state courts are in ensuring freedom for all.
