Planned Parenthood Votes! Rhode Island is thrilled to announce partnerships with the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) organizations Alliance of Rhode Island Southeast Asians for Education (ARISE), Providence Youth Student Movement (PrYSM), and the Cambodian Society of Rhode Island (CSRI).

As we embark on this collaboration, thanks to generous funding from Planned Parenthood Federation of America, we are excited to witness the impactful strides these organizations will make in working to build organizing infrastructure and programming for reproductive freedom in Rhode Island.

As part of our collaboration, our Education and Training team will be conducting reproductive and sexual health workshops tailored to the unique needs of their communities. These workshops will provide the skills, resources, and support everyone deserves to make well-informed decisions about their sexuality and sexual health, with the goal of making comprehensive, evidence-based education accessible to all.

In addition to education workshops, we will be actively participating in the events hosted by ARISE, PrYSM, and CSRI. We are excited about the opportunity to further strengthen our collaboration through our support of these events and learn more about the important work being led by the AANHPI community.

Our collaboration also involves joint advocacy efforts during the 2024 legislative session. Together with our partner organizations, we will amplify our voices at the State House, advocate for meaningful policy changes, and continue to fight to shape the future of our state. Together, we look forward to making a lasting and positive impact on the lives of the AANHPI communities we serve.
