Dedicated to protecting and expanding individual rights to reproductive health care, comprehensive sexual health education, and access to family planning, including abortion.
Urgent Call to Action: Save Planned Parenthood
House Republicans voted to “defund” Planned Parenthood their support of the House reconciliation bill. What does this mean? It means that House Republicans did their best to make sure that cancers will go undetected, STIs will go untreated, birth control will be harder to get, and 1.1 million patients could lose access to the care they need.
We can fight back, AND WIN.
The reconciliation bill still needs to be reviewed by the Senate, and they have the opportunity to make changes.
Now is the time to use your voice and urge our representatives to remove “defunding” Planned Parenthood from the bill to ensure that Americans across the country can continue to access life-saving care provided at Planned Parenthood health centers.
Our country and our community need us.
