We’ve made it to the final hours of the Legislative Session! As always, it’s been a whirlwind 45 days, and we will be doing a more in-depth recap of the session next week. For today, we want to give you a few updates on what happened this week – and what didn’t. (Check our bill tracker for more updates.)
Utah Legislature Week 6
We are in the home stretch! Just one more week of the 2021 Legislative Session to go. Here’s your week 6 update with some rapid-fire info about many of the bills we’ve been following, and there’s reason to celebrate! Keep following our bill tracker, as there will be lots of action this week.
Utah Legislature Week 5
We are at the end of week 5 of the Utah Legislative Session and a little over halfway through Black History Month. Next week, two bills will be making their way to committee that give us the opportunity to make Black History in Utah and make life a little less burdensome for communities of color.
Utah Legislature Week 4
It’s the end of week 4 of the Utah Legislative Session, which means we’ve passed the half-way point, and things are picking up steam!
Utah Legislature Week 3
Here’s your 2021 Legislative Session week 3 update with some very time sensitive action items! As always, keep an eye on our bill tracker for daily updates on our priority bills.
Utah Legislature Week 2
Can you believe it’s already the end of week 2 of the 2021 Legislative session? It’s been a busy one! We may not be up at the Capitol in person this year due to COVID, but our team is working hard from home to advance equitable pro-family reproductive health legislation and combat the bad bills from anti-abortion legislators.
Day One Utah Legislature
Today was the first day of the 2021 Utah Legislative Session. For the next 45 days, Utah Legislators will be convening to approve the budget and to discuss and vote on hundreds of bills that can lead to new state polices.
