2023 Endorsed Candidates

Each election cycle, Planned Parenthood Action Council (PPAC) endorses candidates running for state and local offices. In 2023, we endorsed more then 20 municipal candidates running for mayor and city council seats.

Using questionnaires and interviews, the PPAC Endorsement Committee carefully selected these candidates who will champion the reproductive, sexual health, and social issues that matter most for Planned Parenthood’s patients, providers, and staff.

We acknowledge that not every candidate who applied received PPAC’s endorsement. We are grateful for all Utah candidates who champion reproductive rights and sexual health in this election. We respect your contributions and commitment on these issues in the past, present, and future.

Remember: Election Day is November 21, 2023--two weeks later than normal. Ballots are mailed to all registered voters starting October 31.

To update your registration, track your ballot, or to find a polling place, go to https://vote.utah.gov/

You can register to vote online or through mail up until November 13. You can also register on Election Day and cast a provisional ballot with two forms of ID at a polling place.
