Storytelling + Messaging Workshop (Virtual)

Join Planned Parenthood Association of Utah on Thursday, April 13th from 6:30 pm - 8 pm for a virtual Storytelling and Messaging Workshop.

This workshop is for anyone who supports reproductive health care and abortion access. One of the most powerful tools are the stories about what calls us to action. Your story is needed now more than ever! We will spend time crafting our personal stories and sharing space with community. Hope we get to see you there!

1.19.23 Say Abortion Zine Release

This event focused on a night of community care & learning as we continue to center people who have abortions.
It culminated in the release of our new zine, Say Abortion: Stories from Utahns Who've Had Abortions.

The release party also featured mutual aid effort to assemble Abortion Care Kits that will be distributed to people in our community who are accessing abortion care. At 6 pm, attendees tuned in to the League of Women Voters' webinar with researcher Diana Greene Foster, PhD, author of The Turnaway Study: The Cost of Denying Women Access to Abortion.

7.28.22 Community Care Block Party

This family-friendly event organized by the Utah Reproductive Roundtable Coalition brought together our community for an evening of community care through food, music, dancing, yard games, roller skating, and collective resistance.

7.9.22 Canvassing Campaign Day of Action

80 volunteer canvassers showed up on July 9th for our door-to-door canvassing campaign. They knocked more than 1,000 doors in Salt Lake City, educating Utahns about abortion access and how to get involved in our movement for reproductive freedom.

6.24.22 BANS OFF SALT LAKE CITY

The Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, dismantling our constitutional protection for abortion.

Planned Parenthood Action Council of Utah invited community members to take to the streets with us to not only to demonstrate that people still support abortion access, but to show that we won't back down.

Thank you to the thousands of people who joined us! Our movement is strong with you and we will help people access care, no matter what.

5.14.22 Rallies

On May 14, 2022 we showed up across the country to say: WE WON'T GO BACK, WE WON'T BACK DOWN. Now we will fight harder than ever. We won't compromise our bodies, our futures, our abortions.

We rallied in Salt Lake City, Ogden, and Park City - all in one day. Thank you to all of our supporters who joined us.

5.13.22 Say Abortion Art Exhibit

We must continue to show up, raise our voices, and protect abortion access. This starts by saying: ABORTION. The Say Abortion art exhibit showcased stories and artwork from people who have had abortions.

5.3.22 Rally

In response to the SCOTUS leak we rallied on May 3, 2022. We had 1,000 people rally at the Capitol with just a few hours notice. Thank you to everyone who spoke and helped make this happen.
