Wisconsin Supreme Court

The outcome of this election will determine the balance of power in the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

There is a 4-3 conservative majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. A conservative Justice is retiring leaving an open seat that we will elect to a 10 year term on April 4th.

The impact of this election will be felt for a long time and the court is expected to take cases about abortion, fair maps, and LGBTQ rights.

Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin trusts Janet Protasiewicz on the Supreme Court.

✗ OPPOSE

Daniel Kelly

Daniel Kelly is out of touch with Wisconsinites, we can not trust him on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

What's At Stake on April 4, 2023:

Our state Supreme Court makes rullings that impact whether we have access health care. This April, there’s a lot at stake. We need someone on the Wisconsin Supreme Court who prioritizes reproductive health for the people of Wisconsin

Abortion Access

Health care decisions, especially whether to continue a pregnancy, should be made between a patient, their doctor, and their loved ones, not politicians.

Now that the U.S. Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade, Wisconsin's 173-year-old criminal abortion ban is preventing Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin and others from providing abortion services. This leaves patients unable to access the care that’s best for them and it has medical providers fearing jail time for providing what can be life-saving care.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court could issue rulings that affect our access to abortion care and decide our own futures.

Fair Maps

When our Governor and Legisture disagree on congressional and legisalative district maps the decision gets left in the hands of our state Supreme Court.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court could hear cases that affect the way our maps are drawn.

LGBTQ Rights

As the U.S. Surpeme Court is set to roll back many LGBTQ rights, our state Supreme Court could now have the final say on these fundamental freedoms.

This is why Wisconsinites must elect a justice who prioritize health care on April 4th.

We need justices who trust women to make their own health care decisions, we trust Janet Protasiewicz to uphold our values on the Supreme Court.
