PPIA Board Endorses  Michael Crawford (D-31) and Lisa J. Davis (D-32), Both Challenging Incumbents

CHICAGO—The Board of Directors of Planned Parenthood Illinois Action (PPIA), the non-partisan political and advocacy arm of Planned Parenthood of Illinois, proudly announces its final endorsements for the March 19, 2024 primary election. Candidates were selected based on their sexual and reproductive health care policies and their commitment to protecting the health and rights of all Illinoisans. The full list of endorsements and more information is available at ppiaction.org.

"Abortion and bodily autonomy continue to be on the ballot this primary election season", said Elizabeth Posner, PPIA Board Chair. "It’s crucial that on March 19, we use the power of the ballot box to vote for candidates who will continue to fight for the full range of reproductive rights in Springfield so Illinois remains a safe haven for the care people need and deserve. Everyone should have the power to make health care decisions including abortion and gender-affirming care that are best for themselves and their bodies."
