Maybe you’ve had this experience too: walking into a clinic and getting strange looks. Or sitting down with a provider and not feeling seen or heard for who you are and what kind of care you need. As a gender queer person, those were common occurrences for me—until I went to Planned Parenthood.

At Planned Parenthood, I was made to feel safe and comfortable. My pronouns were respected, my body was respected, my sexuality was respected.

It’s Pride month, so it’s the perfect time to come together and say that every person deserves safe, supportive, nonjudgmental care—no matter who they are or who they love.

Thank you for standing with Planned Parenthood and standing up for LGBTQ+ rights,

Miko
Planned Parenthood patient

P.S. All people deserve high-quality, affordable health care and compassionate, nonjudgmental sexual health information. If you’re like me and you’re looking for a provider that will respect your experience and identity, know that you can always make an appointment at Planned Parenthood.
