Planned Parenthood is in the process of expanding access to health care in Minneapolis! Just a few months ago, health center staff and patients said goodbye to the old clinic to allow for construction of a brand new, state-of-the-art health center.

For almost 90 years, since 1931, Planned Parenthood has been providing expert health care to the Minneapolis community. With such a longstanding presence serving city residents, health center staff are excited to move to a new space that will allow Planned Parenthood to further expand access to care.

Even so, it was still important to say farewell to the old space where so many community members have come to get sexual and reproductive health care over the years. To commemorate the space, health center staff held a goodbye pizza party during the final days providing care at the old clinic.

Thankfully, patients can still go to Planned Parenthood in Minneapolis during construction. Even better? Going to Planned Parenthood actually helps strengthen its ability to provide care for others. Make an appointment online or call 612-823-6300 to schedule an appointment today.

While development of the new space is underway, Planned Parenthood’s expert staff continue to see patients at 918 W Lake Street, just two blocks away from the old location.
