A New Day: President Biden and Vice President Harris Sworn In

We’ve made it! We all DEFINITELY deserve to celebrate — and look forward to the future. We have a lot of work to do, but alongside the Biden-Harris administration, we can get started right away protecting and expanding sexual and reproductive health care.

The new administration has a mandate to lead. Join our appeal to the Biden-Harris White House to build back sexual and reproductive health and rights!

Sen. Hawley Must Resign

Senator Hawley has lied to his constituents, undermined our democracy, and violated his oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution. He must resign.

Democracy Dies in the Dark: Demand MoLeg Allow Remote Testimony

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread, but legislators are proceeding as if it’s business as usual.

Just last week, the work of the entire House of Representatives was put on hold because of a COVID outbreak among members and staff. Friday, Senator Andrew Koenig confirmed he has tested positive after spending the week maskless and in close proximity to colleagues and staff.

Missourians should not have to choose between our health and our democracy. While some House committee hearings will be livestreamed, that is not enough. Sign the ACLU of Missouri’s petition demanding lawmakers provide a meaningful virtual option for the public to safely participate in hearings on the 1200+ bills that have been filed so far.

Cape Girardeau Action Team Meeting

The Cape Girardeau Action Team will meet virtually on Friday at 5:00 p.m. SEMO Grassroots Organizer Aaron Lerma will share updates on current legislation, then lead a discussion about defending abortion access and stopping the spread of harmful propaganda in our communities.

In Southeast Missouri and looking to get involved in the fight for reproductive freedom? This meeting’s for you!

Roe's 48th Anniversary: Donate to Support Abortion Access and Advocacy

Friday, January 22 marked 48 years since the Supreme Court decided Roe v. Wade and protected the right to safe, legal abortion. But we know that for too many Missourians, abortion access depends on their income, race, and zip code. Right now, Reproductive Health Services of Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region (RHS) is the only health center providing abortion in Missouri. Together, we are working toward a future where abortion is accessible for all!

In honor of Roe’s 48th anniversary, will you donate to support abortion access and our advocacy work?

We Demand Justice.

As we continue to watch our country’s two very different, racially divided systems of justice unfold, we must demand accountability.

We must demand an end to the inequity that continues to define every moment of life for Black America.
