ST. LOUIS – Advocates of Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri today announced three endorsements in the upcoming primary election for the St. Louis Board of Aldermen:

  • Ward 10: Pat Hickey
  • Ward 14: Tony Pecinovsky
  • Ward 22: Tonya Finley-McCaw

These endorsements come in advance of the March 5 primary election in St. Louis.

“These candidates each represent what Advocates of Planned Parenthood has long believed – that access to high-quality, accessible, affordable reproductive and sexual health care is not up for political debate,” said Angie Postal, vice president for education, policy, and community engagement for Advocates.

“Advocates of Planned Parenthood is very fortunate in St. Louis to have such overwhelming community support, including the vast majority of Board of Aldermen candidates,” Postal added. “Regrettably, there are some elected leaders who do not share our commitment to ensuring Planned Parenthood’s patients can access the health care they need and we have an opportunity to elect new alders who do.”
