“We recognize the courage it took for Sheena Greitens to speak out against her abuser, even in the face of Eric Greitens’ power and platform. As Missourians, we’ve witnessed firsthand Greitens’ violence and misogyny in the policies he’s pushed against women. We call on every Missourian to stand on the side of survivors, no matter your political identity.

“The same Republican politicians who are condemning Eric Greitens’ violence must take a hard look inward at the policies they continue to push against Missouri women. Their anti-abortion, anti-sexual and reproductive health care agenda, rooted in misogyny and sexism, is just another form of violence. These allegations bring to light the hypocrisy pervasive in Missouri politicians. We all deserve better.”
