Colchester, VT – Planned Parenthood Vermont Action Fund IE PAC proudly endorses David Zuckerman for Lieutenant Governor, T.J. Donovan for Attorney General, Beth Pearce for State Treasurer, and Jim Condos for Secretary of State, for their ongoing commitment to affordable, accessible reproductive health care for Vermonters.

Statement by Lucy Leriche, Vice President of Public Policy, Planned Parenthood Vermont Action Fund IE PAC: “We’re fortunate there are genuine reproductive health care champions in Vermont, and we’re proud to endorse David Zuckerman, T.J. Donovan, Beth Pearce, and Jim Condos. The Trump administration is assailing women’s access to health care at every turn, and in the face of these unprecedented attacks, Vermont’s elected leaders must be unwavering advocates for women’s health care. This past spring, the Trump administration proposed changes to the Title X family planning program that could hurt 10,000 low-income Vermonters. In addition, with the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court, the right to access safe, legal abortion is on the line. In contrast, the Vermont candidates we support will work to protect high quality, affordable, comprehensive reproductive health care for all.”

To receive an endorsement from PPVTAF IE PAC, a candidate's position on women's health issues must be fully consistent with the mission of the Planned Parenthood Vermont Action Fund. Criteria for endorsement also includes the candidates’ demonstrated support for prioritizing equitable, unwavering access to sexual and reproductive health care, public statements, their voting record, and PPVTAF IE PAC questionnaire responses.
