The Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund Celebrates the Victory of Rep. Michelle Dubois

BOSTON—The Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts (PPAF) celebrates State Representative Michelle Dubois’s reelection to the Massachusetts House of Representatives in the 10^th Plymouth District. Rep. Dubois is a driven and steadfast advocate for reproductive rights and access to sexual and reproductive health care. Rep. Dubois’ victory demonstrates Massachusetts voters’ opposition to D.C. politicians’ attempts to dismantle affordable health care. Voters are counting on local leaders like Rep. Dubois to champion their health and rights in the face of these federal attacks.

During the most recent legislative session, Rep. Dubois helped pass new laws that expanded access to birth control, closed an alarming loophole in patient confidentiality, and repealed archaic laws restricting abortion rights.

Leading up to Election Day, PPAF’s field program mobilized grassroots volunteers to knock doors and call voters in order to educate them about Rep. Dubois’ advocacy for smart policies that improve the health and wellbeing of her communities.
