BOSTON—The Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts (PPAF) celebrates State Representative Natalie Higgins’ reelection to the Massachusetts House of Representatives in the 4th Worcester District. Rep. Higgins is a driven and steadfast advocate for reproductive rights and access to sexual and reproductive health care. Rep. Higgins is a strong proponent of survivors of domestic and sexual violence, women’s health care, and reproductive rights.

“For two years, the Trump administration has launched one attack after another on our health and rights. Representative Natalie Higgins stands with Planned Parenthood patients at every turn, and advocates for policies that ensure reproductive and sexual health care is affordable, confidential, and accessible. We are proud to support Rep. Higgins’ reelection and we look forward to partnering with her to pass bold, new policies that build a healthier and more equitable Massachusetts,” said Dr. Jennifer Childs-Roshak, PPAF President.

During the most recent legislative session, Rep. Higgins helped pass new laws that expanded access to birth control, closed an alarming loophole in patient confidentiality, and repealed archaic laws restricting abortion rights.

Leading up to Election Day, PPAF’s field program mobilized grassroots volunteers to knock doors and call voters in order to educate them about Rep. Higgins’ advocacy for smart policies that improve the health and wellbeing of her communities.
