I joined PPGen Action as a first year student and am incredibly grateful for the spaces and opportunities that PPGen Action opened to me over my years of involvement. PPGen Action allowed me to connect with other students who had similar values, learn from each other, empower one another, and lead a community of student activists on issues that mattered most to us. Our chapter continues to advocate for change on our campus and organize and engage students in meaningful and fun events. I value being part of a national movement and learning from professional advocates at Planned Parenthood of Greater New York Action Fund. My experiences with PPGen Action were one of my favorite parts of being in college.

- Abby Zimmerman, PPGen Action Co-Leader at Colgate University

As a Latina, first-generation college student, and aspiring OB/GYN, volunteering with PPGNY has given me the opportunity to grow as an advocate and speak up for communities that are often overlooked. From testifying at New York City Hall to organizing voter outreach for Prop 1, I've seen just how powerful it is when people come together to fight for reproductive justice. I'm proud to be part of a movement that puts people first and believes in a future where everyone, no matter their background, can access the care they deserve.

- Gabriella DeLeon, former Student Leadership Cohort Leader, Region 1
