Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic Action Fund distributes its Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Questionnaire to all candidates running in its service area. This questionnaire asks candidates where they stand on issues like access to health care, abortion access, comprehensive sex education, maternal mortality, and funding for preventive care and birth control. There are also questions addressing intersectional issues, such as immigration or voting rights. Each candidate who returns a questionnaire will receive a score which will reflect how they responded to questions.
The higher the score – the more supportive of sexual and reproductive health and rights.
At this time, there are no elections at the county level. For information on elections at the state level, visit Planned Parenthood Empire State Acts.
