A 26-year-old graduate student pursuing a degree in physical therapy, Jenna H. is no stranger to computers, the internet, or solving complex problems. Yet when it came to enrolling in her own insurance plan for the first time, Jenna hit a wall. As a native Wisconsinite, Jenna wasn't even sure if she qualified for MNsure, let alone how to choose coverage.

Thankfully, Jenna knew just where to turn. She asked for help during a visit to a Planned Parenthood clinic, where staff directed her to Mary Jo, Planned Parenthood's Lead MNsure Navigator.

Mary Jo and her staff guided Jenna through the enrollment process from their first phone call to an in-person meeting where the team completed Jenna's online forms together. "It was very easy to do and it only took a few hours of my time," Jenna said.

Jenna's position as a full-time student without a job qualifies her for Medical Assistance. "It's very affordable," she said, adding that she is particularly excited about her new dental coverage. "I've never had dental insurance in my life!"
