When Kelli first starting looking for a new health insurance plan in 2013, she was overwhelmed by the huge number of plans available on the MNsure website. She thought, somebody has got to help me with this! She clicked the Get Help button on the MNsure navigation bar and landed on a page where she could find MNsure Navigators in her neighborhood. The first one she contacted was Mary Jo, the Lead Navigator at Planned Parenthood

Kelli sat down with Mary Jo to go over the details of her existing insurance policy in hopes of finding a plan that would match her coverage. Then, the two women called all the insurance companies on Mary Jo's list to make sure Kelli's doctors were in their network.

Though Kelli decided not to switch plans after their initial visit, when the second enrollment period rolled around, she met again with Mary Jo. Kelli and Mary Jo made a new list of plans and several more phone calls until they found the perfect plan in Kelli's price range.

"There are a lot of navigators on that site," Kelli said.  "Somehow the stars were aligned that I ended up with Mary Jo. And now I've referred many other people to her!"
