PLANNED PARENTHOOD OF NASSAU COUNTY ACTION FUND (PPNCAF)

Planned Parenthood of Nassau County (PPNC) Action Fund is the political and advocacy arm of Planned Parenthood of Nassau County. The PPNC Action Fund seeks to elect officials at the federal level who will work to preserve reproductive freedom and justice (For local level, see the work of the PPNCAF Political Committee below!). The PPNC Action Fund is a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization which engages in education and electoral activities including issue education, legislative advocacy, and voter education campaigns.

The Action Fund’s primary purpose is to educate voters about public policies that impact reproductive health care and rights – such as adequate funding for family planning services, access to safe and affordable abortion, the promotion of medically-accurate, age-appropriate sex education for our youth, increased access to emergency contraception and confidential health services for minors.

The PPNC Action Fund is a member of, and works in conjunction with, Planned Parenthood Empire State Acts and the Planned Parenthood Action Fund on statewide and federal activities.

Due to the political nature of our work, donations are NOT tax-deductible.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD OF NASSAU COUNTY ACTION FUND POLITICAL COMMITTEE (PPNCAFPC)

The Planned Parenthood of Nassau County Action Fund Political Committee endorses candidates for state and local political office based on ratings provided by the Planned Parenthood of Nassau County Action Fund. Endorsement decisions and ratings are based on a combination of voting records, responses to candidate questionnaires, and publicly stated positions on key women’s health issues.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD OF NASSAU COUNTY (PPNC)

Planned Parenthood of Nassau County seeks to empower individuals to make independent, informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive lives by providing access to medically-sound health care and educational services, and by promoting public policies to make those services available to all.

PPNC has been helping the community make safe, healthy and responsible decisions since 1933. Each year, nearly 45,000 women, men and teens in Nassau County rely on our agency for a wide range of preventive health services, education and counseling.
