Executive Director

Lindsey Harmon is the Executive Director of Planned Parenthood Votes Nevada, a social advocacy and political organization dedicated to championing abortion rights and reproductive freedom. During her tenure, Harmon has significantly expanded the organization’s influence, providing a thoughtful and strategic vision for abortion rights and reproductive health care access in Nevada.

Amidst the challenges posed by the loss of Roe v. Wade, Harmon has worked tirelessly to ensure that Nevada remains a state where abortion rights are unequivocally protected. She has achieved key electoral victories through three cycles up to 2022 and is now entering her fourth cycle, including the launch of the Nevadans for Reproductive Freedom ballot initiative, in 2024.

Harmon's dedicated efforts have played a pivotal role in securing various legislative accomplishments, including her role in the critical senate race flip for Nevada during the 2018 midterm elections. Since then, she has advocated for a pro-reproductive rights agenda in the legislature, contributing to the passing of the Trust Nevada Women Bill—the first proactive abortion bill since 1990 in the state—along with several contraception access bills. Additionally, she has worked towards establishing a female majority legislature and elevating reproductive rights as a central issue in the electoral cycle.

Her recent work has culminated in a ballot initiative for the 2024 election aimed at protecting abortion access in the state constitution. A proud graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, and a lifelong Reno, Nevada resident, Harmon is committed to fighting for the fundamental rights of Nevadans and amplifying their voices through Planned Parenthood Votes Nevada.
