Legislative Priorities

In 2021, our top priority is to make sure family planning and reproductive health care are accessible and affordable for all Nevadans:

  • Prescriptive authority for pharmacists to prescribe birth control
  • Make telehealth more accessible to patients
  • Allow Community Health Workers and Promotoras to bill Medicaid
  • Secure $6 million dollars in funding over the biennium for the state family planning grant program

Planned Parenthood Votes Nevada will always stand up to protect access to safe and legal abortion.

  • We oppose any legislation that makes an effort to roll back women’s access to the abortion care they need.
