Planned Parenthood Votes Nevada Announces First Wave of Endorsements in 2024 Election Cycle

RENO, NEVADA – Planned Parenthood Votes Nevada has announced its first round of endorsements in the 2024 electoral cycle. This slate of candidates have proven to be steadfast supporters of abortion rights and reproductive health care in the face of increasing attacks on abortion rights and access after the overturning of Roe v. Wade in 2022. 

Planned Parenthood Votes Nevada advocates on behalf of all Nevadans who depend on access to affordable, high-quality reproductive health care to live safe, healthy lives.

Statement from Lindsey Harmon, Executive Director, Planned Parenthood Votes Nevada: 

"The 2024 elections are set to be a bellwether for our democracy – and another proofpoint that the majority of people in this state, and in this country, support abortion rights and reproductive freedom. One thing the past few years has shown us is that public support for the right to abortion cannot and will not be recognized by our legislative bodies, unless those bodies are filled with elected officials who also believe in a person’s fundamental right to reproductive freedom.

Nevadans deserve a legislature that works for them and that includes continuing to protect abortion rights, improving access to all forms of reproductive health care in the Silver State, and a belief that a person’s health care decisions remain solely between them and their doctor. We’re confident that the slate of candidates listed below believe in that vision too and we are proud to endorse them in their candidacies.”
