RENO, NEVADA – Planned Parenthood Votes Nevada has announced its first round of 2022 mid-term election endorsements in Nevada state races with Governor Steve Sisolak and Attorney General Aaron Ford. Both candidates have proven steadfast supporters of abortion rights and reproductive health care while the national landscape for abortion access continues to tighten.

Planned Parenthood Votes Nevada advocates on behalf of the thousands of Nevadans who depend on access to affordable, high-quality reproductive health care.

Statement from Lindsey Harmon, Executive Director, Planned Parenthood Votes Nevada:

"With the Supreme Court set to make a ruling that could overturn or gut Roe v. Wade in the spring, it has never been more crucial that we continue to protect abortion access in Nevada as we look at what could be a seismic shift in the national abortion access landscape. Both Governor Sisolak and Attorney General Ford have demonstrated their deep commitment and understanding of abortion rights and reproductive health care for Nevadans during their tenure all while anti-abortion politicians nationwide have continued to limit access to this vital health care.

If Nevada is to remain a safe haven, we don’t just need candidates who will defend against these relentless attacks --- we need champions like Governor Sisolak and Attorney General Ford who will fight to move us forward.”
