About Bans Off Our Bodies
Bans Off Our Bodies is a national abortion rights campaign. It is led by abortion rights supporters in response to unrelenting political attacks on our basic right to control our own bodies, our lives, and our futures.
Bans Off Our Bodies protests send a loud, clear message: Everyone deserves the right to get abortion care when they need it — in their own communities.
When the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade — the case that gave us the right to legal abortion in 1973 — it robbed our power and handed state politicians control over our personal medical decisions. There is an increased need for Bans Off Our Bodies to collectively mobilize against dangerous abortion bans.
This movement will not back down — not now, not ever.
The abortion rights affirmed by Roe v. Wade 50 years ago were stolen from us last June.
The abortion rights affirmed by Roe v. Wade 50 years ago were stolen from us last June.
But a better, more equitable, future is ours — and we'll build it together.
