The ads, which will appear in both English and Spanish, urge voters to elect health care champions up and down the ballot by Nov. 8

WASHINGTON — Today, Planned Parenthood Votes released a new round of spots in its 2022 ad campaign in Pennsylvania, with a goal of reaching 300,000 voters this cycle. The new static and video ads encourage Pennsylvania voters to cast their ballots by November 8 for reproductive rights champions in a critical election for the future of abortion access, with a particular focus on John Fetterman for U.S. Senate, Josh Shapiro for governor, and Ashley Ehasz for House Representative in PA-01.

The ads, which will run in both English and Spanish, highlight when, where, and how to vote in Pennsylvania this year, including by mail, early in-person, and at the polls on Election Day (Tuesday, Nov. 8).

The advertisements include “Make a Plan,” “If We Don’t Vote,” “Vote for Ehasz,” and “Brian Fitzpatrick will Ban Abortion.”

Statement from Breana Ross, Pennsylvania Campaign Director,  Planned Parenthood Votes:

“Abortion rights are on the ballot in Pennsylvania, and the stakes have never been higher. Anti-abortion candidates have made their agenda clear: ban abortion in the Keystone State and exert power over Pennsylvanians’ lives. But Pennsylvania voters know that reproductive freedom is essential. They’re motivated to cast their ballots for candidates who will protect the right to bodily autonomy and support access to essential health care. They’re ready to elect champions up and down the ballot, including John Fetterman, Josh Shapiro, and Ashley Ehasz. Planned Parenthood Votes will work to reach every voter we can, because all of our freedoms depend on it.”

The campaign in Pennsylvania is part of Planned Parenthood advocacy and political organizations’ 2022 electoral program, “Take Control,” which represents the groups’ largest-ever investment in an electoral cycle. The program will help elect champions for sexual and reproductive health care and rights, including abortion, up and down the ballot and all across the country. The strategic investments will focus on states positioned to either restrict or expand access to sexual and reproductive health care.
