Planned Parenthood Votes Responds to House Republicans’ “Commitment to America”

For Immediate Release: Sept. 23, 2022


Washington, D.C. – Planned Parenthood Votes Executive Director Jenny Lawson released the following statement on the House Republicans’ new “Commitment to America” policy plan, which pledges that Republicans will “protect the lives of the unborn” should they retake the majority. 

“Congressional Republicans have made their commitment to America crystal clear: pass a nationwide abortion ban. 

That’s why voters are committing to kicking anti-abortion politicians out of office and electing reproductive health care champions who will unapologetically protect and advocate for safe, legal abortion.”
