Abortion rights advocates score legislators on actions taken on abortion rights and reproductive health care in 82nd legislative session

Las Vegas, NV — Abortion rights and access is one of the top issues for Nevadans, and in the 82nd Legislative Session it was a top priority for Planned Parenthood Votes Nevada, its allies and supporters. That is why Planned Parenthood Votes Nevada is releasing its 2023 Legislative Scorecard, so Nevadans can know how their elected officials have voted on priority legislation like SJR7, SB131, AB383 and more.

To view the scorecard in its entirety, please visit the Planned Parenthood Votes Nevada website

Statement from Lindsey Harmon, Executive Director, Planned Parenthood Votes Nevada:

“The stakes of protecting abortion rights are higher than ever and we think Nevadans deserve to know how their legislators voted on the issues that matter to them. That’s why we’ve put together our most extensive legislative scorecard yet.

In a post-Roe world, it’s crucial that Nevada elected officials stay true to the broad majority of Nevadans that support the right to an abortion and access to reproductive health care. The 2023 legislative session served as the first of many key touchstones in the fight to improve our protections for abortion and reproductive health in the Silver State while access to abortion shrinks nationwide.”
