Albuquerque, NM— Today, the Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains Action Fund Board endorsed Maggie Toulouse Oliver for Secretary of State of New Mexico. Candidates were sent a questionnaire to determine support of reproductive health care and access. Her opponent, Nora Espinoza, is a former legislator who sponsored several anti-choice bills and was a vocal opponent of abortion and reproductive health.
“We are thrilled to be endorsing Maggie Toulouse Oliver for Secretary of State of New Mexico. She has proven her support of protecting every New Mexican’s right to vote – which is vital to representing and protecting reproductive rights. In this pivotal election, we are proud to support her,” said Vicki Cowart, President of the Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains Action Fund.
